Little Voices ("the app," "we," "us") is built so that your family's data stays yours. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with information.
The short version
We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or have any access to your data. Everything you create in Little Voices — recordings, transcripts, your child's name, and your reflections — is stored only on your device.
Information we collect
None. Little Voices has no servers, no analytics, no accounts, and no third-party tracking SDKs. We cannot see your content because it never reaches us.
How your content is handled
- Recordings & transcripts are saved locally on your device.
- Transcription is performed on-device by Apple's built-in speech recognition. Audio is not sent to us or to any third-party transcription service.
- Backups you choose to export are saved by you, to a location you control (e.g. Files or iCloud Drive). We never receive them.
Subscriptions & payments
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your name, payment details, or Apple ID. Apple's handling of that information is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Children's privacy
Little Voices is intended for use by a parent or guardian. Content about a child is created and kept by that adult on their own device; we never collect or process any personal information from children or anyone else.
Your control
You can delete any entry, or all data, at any time from within the app or by deleting the app. Because we hold nothing, there is nothing for you to request from us.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date.
